The Cobb County Board of Education is expected to vote on two sports-related matters during the 8:30 a.m. meeting Wednesday at 514 Glover St., Marietta.

Collins, Cooper, Carusi Architects Inc. of Atlanta is being recommended by Superintendent Chris Ragsdale at a cost of $658,372 to design the new gym at Campbell High School in Smyrna.

Also, the board is expected to discuss whether to allow the McEachern Endowment Fund to advertise for bids to replace the practice field turf at McEachern High School in Powder Springs at a cost of $350,000.
