If you need to pass through Pine Mountain Road at Ellis Road tonight, be warned.

The Kennesaw intersection is closed until crews clear the downed utility pole and power lines, according to an email from Cobb County Commissioner Bob Weatherford.

His email did not say what caused the pole to break.

Cobb EMC staff is on the scene. And the estimated time of reopening is 10 p.m.

The accident occurred at 2:30 p.m., according to the county's online traffic map.

Authorities advise motorists use a different route, so use the map below to find one.
