Three Cobb County Department of Transportation (CCDOT) projects were recognized for their designs at the annual Georgia Partnership for Transportation Quality Preconstruction Design Awards during the 2018 Georgia Transportation Summit held Nov. 9 in Athens.

The American Council of Engineering Companies of Georgia and the Georgia Department of Transportation announced CCDOT consultant Arcadis U.S. Inc. as the winner in the categories of “Context Sensitive Planning and Design including Public Participation Plan” and “Traffic Safety and/or Intersection Design” for the Concord Road Covered Bridge rehabilitation and the South Barrett Reliever roundabout, respectively.
