Cobb to purchase salt truck for bad weather

Cobb commissioners approved the purchase of a salt spreader truck with front snow plow attachment. The county is also buying two salt spreader hoppers to mount on existing trucks. According to the county, the machines will improve response efforts when bad weather hits. The cost will be $233,618.
