Cobb police investigate armed robbery

Cobb County police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Wednesday at a GNC store at 2100 Roswell Road in Marietta.

A man wearing large sunglasses entered the business around 12:45 p.m. and demanded money from the employee at gunpoint. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber ordered the employee into a bathroom and closed the door. He then fled the business, police said.

The suspect is described as a black male about 5 feet 11 inches tall with a medium build, dark skin, and "twists" in his hair.
