Nearly 80 students from the Cobb Performance Learning Center were recognized May 12 for completing requirements for graduation this year. Students were also recognized for demonstrating academic progress in specific subjects, exceptional public service, positive attitudes and high attendance. In partnership with Communities In Schools, the center provides academic and social support for students who are not succeeding in a traditional high school setting by helping them recover credits for graduation and to develop work-ready skills.
