Cobb County Geographical Informational System’s new website “My Neighborhood” is now active.

This site was designed and built as a replacement for the existing Silverlight GIS site, including improvements from internal and community feedback.

The older GIS site will be kept active until Friday, and GIS staff will provide notice before it is fully disabled.

Access the site at cobbgis.org:81/Html5Viewer/?viewer=cobbpublic.

The “My Neighborhood” mapping site includes many enhancements such as:

  • Compatible with Chrome and the new Microsoft browsers which previously did not work with Chrome
  • Works on all mobile and tablet devices instead of only desktops
  • Easy, new user-friendly access to tools and searches
  • Faster refresh and load times
  • Improved capabilities for hyperlinking to Tax Assessor website for information
  • New tools to bookmark locations which look like a storybook icon under the zoom tools

The parcel easy-access GIS public map and the Parks Finder and Zoning Search GIS public sites also were replaced.
