The murder of a Cobb County mother will be highlighted Monday in an episode of a true-crime series that will air on cable TV.

"Fatal Attraction" will profile the case of Danielle Marshall, a 23-year-old mother who was killed in 2013. The episode will air at 9 p.m. Monday, April 22 on TV One, the Powder Springs Police Department said on its Facebook page.

Danielle Marshall’s body was found in her Powder Springs kitchen in January 2013. Her daughter, who was nine months old at the time, was found crawling around the home at the time of the grisly discovery. Marshall had been pistol-whipped and shot in the head, Cobb prosecutors previously said.

After a year of trying to solve Marshall's murder, the case turned cold. However, a breakthrough came when investigators examined phone records pointing to Joshua Maurice Gibson, the father of Marshall's baby. He was arrested in 2015.

A Cobb County trial jury in 2018 convicted him on the charges he faced, including malice murder, two counts of aggravated assault, cruelty to children in the third degree and making false statements. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole.

Comcast/Xfinity subscribers can watch the show on channel 71. For DirecTV users, TV One is channel 328. AT&T Uverse users should tune in to channel 157 to catch the show.
