Cobb may replace three bridges

Cobb officials may be replacing three bridges.
The decision was made Dec. 12 by the Cobb County Board of Commissioners.
They include:
- $820,239 as the low bid to Baldwin Paving Co. Inc. for a bridge replacement on Brookwood Drive over Clay Branch at the intersection with Billy Max Drive.
- $157,358 to Long Engineering Inc. for engineering design of Woodland Brook Drive over Gilmore Creek.
- $25,000 to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for a plan review fee of a bridge replacement on Mars Hill Road over Allatoona Creek between Chipping Drive and Waldenbrooke Court since property on each side of the creek belongs to the federal government.
