Cobb County officials may condemn nine parcels on Cumberland Boulevard between Spring and Akers Mill roads.
This decision was made Tuesday by the Cobb County Board of Commissioners.
The project involves widening Cumberland Boulevard from two to three lanes traveling west and to the northern side to avoid impacting the Cobb Community Transit Transfer Center along with many other improvements.
Property owners affected include AT Altus Cumberland GA LLC with three parcels, Cumberland Mall LLC with two parcels, Macy’s Inc., Seritage SRC Finance LLC, Hospitality Properties Trust and CP Cumberland LLC.
