A Cobb County grand jury has indicted a Marietta man sporting a distinctive facial tattoo in connection to the November 2018 shooting death of another man during an argument.
Cordale Dewayne Jefferson, 28, was indicted this month on one count of malice murder, two counts of felony murder and one count each of possession of a during the commission of a felony and aggravated assault.
Jefferson is accused of shooting and killing 25-year-old Jack Myles around 6:20 p.m. Nov. 17, 2018, at the corner of Austell and Pat Mell roads near Marietta, Cobb County police previously told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Jefferson, who has the word ‘BADAZZ’ tattooed on his forehead and two tear drops under his left eye, turned himself in to authorities a few days after Cobb police released his name and photo to the public.
Officers arrived at the scene to find Myles lying on the ground. He was transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
According to Cobb arrest warrants, Jefferson and Myles were arguing before Jefferson pulled out a handgun and shot the victim twice. Myles allegedly told police that Jefferson pulled the trigger.
Cobb County Superior Court records do not show a defense attorney listed for Jefferson. He is scheduled to be arraigned at 9:30 a.m. March 19 in front of Judge Robert Flournoy.
