A 57-year-old man is set to spend the rest of his life in jail for sexual attacks against family members.

Aristides Rios Rodriguez was sentenced Friday to three life terms on charges of rape along with child molestation and other counts, the Cobb County district attorney’s office announced Monday.

The attacks happened at the Kennesaw man’s home during several months in 2015.

Police found out about the crimes from an older family member, according to the news release. Investigators found DNA on the girls that matched Rodriguez.

Drew Healy, a prosecutor on the case, applauded the jury and the victims.

“As is the case with most sexual assaults, these girls did not disclose the abuse until years after it had started,” said ADA Drew Healy, who prosecuted the case with ADA Susan Treadaway. The jury’s verdict “and this sentence honor the bravery of these victims coming forward to hold this defendant accountable.”

Rodriguez has been in jail nearly 1,100 days since being arrested in September 2015.
