One of Cobb County’s multiple Cielo Blue Cantina restaurants just failed a health inspection.

The Mexican restaurant at 1080 Windy Hill Road in Smyrna scored a 69 on its Friday health check, records show. Any score below a 70 is considered failing.

An inspector noted uncooked onions being improperly stored beneath raw chicken, beef and fish.

The eatery was also docked for stacking its dishes wet along with dishes and utensils stored amid food debris.

There was also a jacket and a purse found lying on top of onions.

A manager at the restaurant was not immediately available for comment after the inspection Friday.

It scored an 80 in November and a 97 in April.

According to the chain's website, there are four Cielo Blue locations in Cobb and two others elsewhere.

Follow-up inspections are usually done within 10 days of the original evaluation.
