The Development Authority of Cobb County along with the Cobb Chamber and county government has launched the county's first comprehensive economic development website, www.selectcobb.com.

The site is designed to market Cob's advantages and provides information about the offered tax incentives. The site is a long-awaited project of the Development Authority, which the Authority paid the Chamber $15,000 for its development, and will pay $1,500 for website maintenance.

Some Authority members initially balked at the website's lengthy completion time, and failure of the Chamber to get input from all Authority members.
