Cobb to increase parking deck fees on Feb. 1

Cobb County Government will be charging new parking deck fees beginning Feb. 1 at two Marietta Square locations. They include the parking decks at 100 Cherokee St. and 191 Lawrence St. Parking deck patrons will pay at kiosks and upon exit with debit and credit cards, according to a county statement. The fees will be charged from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. These decks will be free on Sundays.
The price structure will be:
- First 30 minutes: free
- 31 minutes to two hours: $2
- Two to five hours: $5
- More than five hours: $7
- Lost ticket: $7
