Cobb County library officials are encouraging all Cobb residents to sign up to receive free library cards that are valid for two years.

Visit any Cobb library to sign up.

Cobb library cards give access to tools such as lynda.com, including courses on business and technology; Mango Languages, including dozens of languages; Gale Courses; Value Line; Morningstar Investment Research Center; eBooks; eAudiobooks and digital magazines.

Other programs offered by Cobb libraries are storytimes for babies and toddlers; events for teens, tweens and adults; special classes on many topics and author events.

Also, students currently attending Cobb County and Marietta City schools already have a Public Library Access for Student Success (PASS) account.

Each student number works like a library card number.

PASS provides access to resources at the Cobb public library – books, online databases, eBooks and eAudiobooks.
