A Marietta girl was one of the three 16-year-olds who survived a fatal rollover crash in Florida.

The girl who died, Brooke Rice, also 16, and the two others were all from the Naples area where the crash occurred, according to the local sheriff’s office.

Neither the Marietta girl, Jamie Bennett, nor Rice were driving. Deputies have not released what caused the crash nor have they said why the Marietta girl was in Florida.

The four teens were driving Saturday at 10:20 p.m. on a neighborhood road when the car rolled over.

All four were taken to hospitals, which is where Rice died.

Deputies have not said if they plan to charge anyone in the crash.

Rice played soccer in addition to track and field at a local Catholic school.

The school held a memorial service for her, which was covered by the Naples Daily News.
