Cobb firefighters raise money to send burn-injured children to camp

Cobb residents can expect to see firefighters out in full force the next three Fridays — April 26, May 3 and May 10 — but they won’t be fighting fires. They’ll be holding boots, collecting donations for the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation. The money raised by Cobb firefighters will go directly to Camp Oo-U-La, the state’s only camp exclusively for children with burn injuries. The foundation covers the cost of camp.
