If you plan to visit Six Flags next week, you may need a new route.

There will be periodic lane closures on portions of Six Flags Drive from July 5 through July 8, according to the Cobb County Department of Transportation's Facebook page.

Construction will take place on Six Flags Drive between Factory Shoals Road and Riverside Parkway. Work will occur from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, and the Cobb DOT warns drivers to "expect delays and travel safely."
