The Cobb Board of Commissioners Tuesday donated $38,000 to the Make-A-Wish Georgia Foundation, with money raised from an October 5K race. The money will be used to grant wishes for Cobb children with life-threatening medical conditions. Since 2001, the county has raised almost $350,000 for the organization.
