Cobb County's school board will decide at its next board meeting whether to grant a charter to Smyrna Academy of Excellence, a charter school that wants to serve South Cobb students. The school's administrators convinced board members at its last meeting to give them more time to come up with a better financial plan for the school. The board will next meet on June 28 at 7 p.m.
