Cobb County’s unemployment rate dipped slightly to 9.4 percent in February, according to data released by the state’s labor department.

February’s figure is down from 9.6 percent in January of this year, and 10.1 percent in February 2010.

This year’s figure is lower than that of the metro Atlanta area and the state, which both had unemployment rates of 10.2 percent in February.
