Cobb cops investigating gas station robbery

Cobb County police are looking for a suspect in the armed robbery of a Sunoco gas station in Mableton late Saturday night.

Investigators say a man with a handgun entered the gas station in the 1000 block of Veterans Memorial Highway about 11:30 p.m. and demanded money from the clerk. After the clerk gave the man an undisclosed amount of money from the cash registers, the suspect fled on foot, authorities said.

The suspect was wearing a mask and all black clothing, police said.
