Cobb County Commissioner Bob Ott will speak at the July 27 meeting of the East Cobb Civic Association, which convenes at 7 p.m. at the East Cobb Government Center, 4400 Lower Roswell Rd.

Ott has not been asked to address any particular subjects, but several issues have been hot topics in Cobb lately, including the budget, the transportation sales tax and the Johnsons Ferry redevelopment master plan.

The following meeting, on Aug. 31 at the East Cobb Library, 4880 Lower Roswell Rd., will feature Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens.
