Cobb Commissioners unanimously approved changes to the county code Tuesday that will make it easier for people looking to redevelop properties in the county.

The changes shift much of the redevelopment application process online, and offer some flexibility in areas like parking lots, water system requirements, street lights and tree planting.

Commissioner Bob Ott led the effort for the rules changes, which are a way Cobb can offer business incentives with no cost to the county, while also helping rework tired areas, he said.
