Cobb cities choose mayor pro tems

The six cities in Cobb County have chosen their mayor pro tems - some by mayoral appointment, some by City Council vote.

Mayor pro tems preside in the place of mayors if they are absent for meetings.

Serving for one calendar year, this year’s mayor pro tems are:

Acworth: Alderman Brett North.
Austell: Councilman Ollie B. Clemons Jr.
Kennesaw: Councilman Nimesh Patel.
Marietta: Councilwoman Michelle Cooper Kelly.
Powder Springs: Councilwoman Cheryl Sarvis.
Smyrna: Councilwoman Teri Anulewicz.
