A Marietta charity has a new trailer after a man, who is still on the run, allegedly stole the original, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Marietta police youth Explorers and First United Methodist Church of Marietta donated the $1,100 needed to buy the new trailer, said Channel 2.

The Zone is a nonprofit that helps people recover from the worst stages of their addictions. It collects donations and sells them from its Fairground Street facility. That’s why having a trailer is so crucial.

“I was heartbroken,” said Missy Owen, the organization’s CEO. “It's frustrating that these people are trying to do a good cause and someone is taking it away from them.”

Surveillance footage shows a man cutting a lock with a bolt cutter to steal the trailer. Marietta police told Channel 2 they believe he is Johnny Haire, who has been arrested two times already this year and has a lengthy criminal history.

Cops told Channel 2 that tips came in after footage of the theft was released.

Marietta police spokesman Officer Paul Hill told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Wednesday that Haire was still at large.
