Cobb approves new sidewalks for Piedmont Road
The Cobb County Board of Commissioners approved a contract recently for new sidewalks on Piedmont Road. Glosson Enterprises was the low bidder for $140,830.
Sidewalks will be added on the south side of Piedmont Road from Canton Road to Cottonwood Drive and gaps will be filled in existing sidewalks. The total project length is approximately 3,726 feet.
Funding will come from the 2011 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax.
