The Cobb Alcohol Taskforce is hosting its bimonthly meeting on Tuesday to discuss the next steps in reducing underage and youth binge drinking throughout Cobb County.

The Taskforce has been involved in changes to local policies aimed at underage drinking. Cobb recently strengthened its social host penalties for people hosting events where alcohol is available to minors. Marietta passed rules that banning minors from bars.

The meeting begins at 2 p.m. at the Cobb Sheriff's Work Release Center, 1825 County Services Parkway in Marietta.
