A community open house will be held 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 17 at the Cobb County Civic Center, 548 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta to review an update to the Cobb 2040 Comprehensive Plan.

This plan is “a community-designed growth strategy that provides a long-range vision to ensure Cobb County continues to be an attractive place to visit, invest, conduct business and raise a family,” according to a Cobb government announcement.

Requesting public feedback at this meeting, the Cobb Planning Division staff will present a draft of the vision, goals, policies and work items.
