‘Impact of WWI’ in Norcross

The city’s resident historian Gene Ramsay will present this exhibit during the opening reception at the Norcross Cultural Arts Center, focusing on:
- Camp Gordon, a major Army training base that was located in nearby Chamblee;
- The associated rifle range where Camp Gordon soldiers received training in Norcross; and
- A cross-section of veterans from Norcross and Gwinnett County who served in the war.
While the exhibit will remain open through April 22 by appointment only, the year-long Gwinnett Bicentennial Celebration will culminate on Dec. 18. NorcrossGa.net.
