Clifton Road closed overnight for road work

Road construction is scheduled to take place overnight throughout the end of this week, weather permitting. Contractors for DeKalb County will be working from 9 p.m. through 5 a.m. Friday on Clifton Road between Gambrell/Fishburne Drive and Uppergate Drive/Woodruff Circle.

From 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Saturday the workers will construct a concrete intersection at Clifton Road and Lowergate Drive. These streets will be closed to through traffic. Motorists are expected to find alternate routes of travel.
