The delays, which stretched from Windy Hill Road to Wade Green Road, started building just after 5 a.m. and cleared by 11:10 a.m., according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center.

The crash investigation moved off to the left of the interstate just after 7 a.m. At one point in the investigation, trip times from Wade Green Road to I-285 were up to 70 minutes.
