Clayton County Schools and the Atlanta Community Food Bank have extended their partnership to bring food to south metro Atlanta community.

The food bank will provide grocery services from 9 a.m.-noon every Friday through May 22 at Huie, King, Tara and West Clayton elementary schools, as well as Lovejoy High School.

The food bank and Clayton Schools also are looking for volunteers for the initiative. Those interested should arrive at 9 a.m. every Thursday to package food items and by 8 a.m. on Fridays to distribute food.

To volunteer, reach out at ccpscommunications@clayton.k12.ga.us.

In addition, the school system continues to provide free breakfast and lunch meals from 9 a.m.-noon Monday through Friday at 23 sites around the county. See here for a list of those distribution points.
