Clayton Park & Rec to host Fishing Derby this Saturday

The Clayton County Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a series of fishing contests this summer with the first one being held this Saturday. The Fishing Derby runs from 8 a.m. to noon at Clayton County International Park - also known as “The Beach” - 2300 Hwy 138 SE in Jonesboro. Cost: $5 per person. The other derbys will be held on July 11 and August 1. Details: 770 473-5423 or www.claytonparks.com.
