Clayton County’s annual Festival of Trees and Lights opens Friday at the Clayton County International Park, with a 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. opening ceremony followed by the tree-lighting. There is no gate fee if you enter the park before 6 p.m. The festival runs through Dec. 16 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a light show Tuesdays through Thursdays and entertainment Fridays through Sundays.
