Clayton County Public Schools’ board of education made the the following appointments at its recent meeting:

  • Alisha Albritten, assistant principal at Babb Middle School, named coordinator of performance management.
  • Sonja Bullock, assistant administrator of special education at Georgia Cyber Academy, named coordinator of exceptional education.

Additional board appointments this fall include:

  • Paul Scott, teacher at Mundy's Mill Middle School, named coordinator of health and physical education;
  • Wakea Brown, coordinator of performance management, named principal of Tara Elementary School;
  • David Smith, formerly director of finance with the city of Fairburn, named director of business services;
  • Tara Davison, site facilitator at Morrow High School, named assistant principal at Lovejoy High School;
  • Gregory Kirkland, coordinator of health and physical education, named assistant principal at Lovejoy High School.
