Clayton County Schools has rescheduled the groundbreaking of its newest elementary school for STEM students and a new transportation depot.

The groundbreaking will take place at 4 p.m. Feb. 20 at 11485 Panhandle Road in Hampton. Because of parking limitations at the construction site, the district’s transportation department plans to provide shuttle service to and from the groundbreaking.

The new school will be home for students attending Eddie White Elementary School, the district said.

Clayton originally had planned to hold the groundbreaking this past Wednesday but was forced to reschedule because of rain.
