Clayton County officer loses control, flips patrol car Monday night on Flat Shoals Road

A Clayton County police officer was responding to a call when he lost control of his patrol car and flipped on Flat Shoals Road and Yellowood Court.

Police said the accident happened at about 10 p.m. Tuesday in Clayton County.

The officer was briefly trapped but was not seriously injured. He could return to work as early as Wednesday.
