Police are searching for a man who robbed a Clayton County bank Monday morning.

The robber entered the RBC Centura Bank on Tara Boulevard near Jonesboro around 11 a.m., Clayton Police Lt. Rebecca Brown said.

He gave two tellers a note, reading "give all the money and no dye packs," Brown said. He did not show a weapon.

He fled with about $6,500, Brown said.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a black male about 5-feet-5, wearing baggy jeans and a large gray sweater. He may be traveling with a black female with cornrows in her hair.

Anyone with information is urged to call 404-577-TIPS.
