The Clarkston Community Center will host a weekend of events in remembrance of the Sept. 11 anniversary.

Saturday, Clarkston will be a Hands On Atlanta service site, with volunteers planting a food forest of edible plants and bushes. The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the community center on College Avenue.

At 6 p.m. Sunday, the center will screen “Concrete, Steel, and Paint” with Producer/Director Tony Heriza as part of the South Arts Southern Circuit Tour of Independent Filmmakers. Tickets are $5.
