Sandy Springs United Methodist Church will host a Stop Hunger Now food packaging event May 1 at its Hitson Memorial Activities Center.

The goal is to package more than 100,000 meals for children in Uganda. Meals cost 25 cents, and up to 300 can be packaged in two hours. To volunteer, contact Jenny Byrd, byrdjenny1957@gmail.com. Donations can be made to Sandy Springs United Methodist Church/Stop Hunger Now project.
