Christmas tree lighting Friday in downtown Acworth

The City of Acworth is hosting a Christmas tree lighting and Santa sighting on Main Street downtown in an event that starts 6:30 p.m., Friday, December 2. Mayor Tommy Allegood will read The Night Before Christmas before the lighting. Santa and all his elves, and Mrs. Claus, will also make an appearance. Arrive at the Depot at 5:15 p.m. to schedule a picture with the Clauses. Pictures begin at 6:45 p.m. Time slots for pictures are limited so arrive early.
