A Gwinnett County Chinese restaurant is shut down after failing a sixth health inspection.

In the latest inspection, Wok Rock, located on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Duluth, had several repeat violations. They received a 55, their sixth failing score in less than two years.

“If they failed two or three, let alone six times, they should be closed. Obviously they don't care,” said customer Steve Collett.

Channel 2’s Carol Sbarge went to the restaurant Friday and found the doors closed.

The Gwinnett County Health Department suspended Wok Rock’s permit June 23 because they had a cockroach infestation and failed two back-to-back inspections.

Some of the violations in the latest inspection included cockroaches in the kitchen, cold food not kept cold enough and a current inspection not being posted.

The restaurant manager told us earlier this month they were cleaning and fixing things. That was after getting a 50 on an inspection.

Sbarge contacted the Gwinnett Health Department to ask about the restaurant having six failures in less than two years.

In a statement, the health department said in order for the permit to be reinstated Wok Rock must demonstrate upon reinspection that all necessary corrective actions have been successfully implemented.

Wok Rock’s food service permit will remain suspended until the next inspection. We will let you know what happens.
