The Cherokee County School District has scored a seventh-place rating among big school systems nationwide for how it utilizes technology in educating. The designation came out of a national survey conducted by the Center for Digital Education and the National School Boards Association.

The survey rated a multitude of factors, ranging from integration of mobile technology into the curriculum to data management to the overall quality of instruction in technology tools and their use by teachers and students.

It’s the 10th time Cherokee has landed on the list of the top 10 technologically-savvy large school districts.
