Cherokee Tea Party sends message to Deal about health care law

The Tea Party Patriots of Cherokee County will hold a press conference Tuesday to announce the group has sent a letter to Gov. Nathan Deal asking him to stop the implementation of the Affordable Care Act in Georgia.

The group has organized a phone, email and petition campaign to oppose the health care reform, which expands Medicaid to cover more people. The press conference is scheduled for noon at the gazebo in downtown Canton. For more information contact Carolyn Cosby, 770-735-3521.
