Cherokee seeks robbery, family violence suspect

The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a 25-year-old Acworth man considered armed and dangerous.

Sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Jay Baker said Gregory Olaniyan is wanted on robbery, felony theft, terroristic threat and family-violence-act-related battery charges. He said the charges stem from a domestic dispute earlier this month and a bomb threat called into an Acworth business on Saturday. Olaniyan is also wanted on family violence charges in Cobb.

Baker said in addition to Acworth, the suspect also frequents the Windy Hill Road area in Marietta and parts of Columbus, and should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see him or have information: 770-928-0239.
