Cherokee County School District campuses have set up open house/walk-through events from July 28- 31.

School district officials say the events scheduled at various times will give students and their parents a chance to meet their teachers and principal, get class schedules and visit the classrooms students will be using. They can also get briefed about various school functions and services, pre-pay for lunches and learn about bus schedules.

The walk-through events are set during differing daytime hours during the four-day period. Many campuses will split up walk-through times by grade on the same day.

The school year begins on Aug. 3.
