Cherokee County transportation officials hold two open houses this month as officials consider possible revisions to the county’s comprehensive transportation plan.

Cherokee officials said every five years, they study the needs of residents and examine possible changes that may be needed because of alterations in the county’s employment, population, land use and development since the adoption of the mst recent plan. They want citizen input on trouble spots and how to improve them.

The input-gathering sessions are planned for: 6-8 p.m. June 23 at the Cherokee County Administration Building, 1130 Bluffs Parkway, Canton, and 6-8 p.m. June 25 at Magnolia Hall, 108 Arnold Mil Road, Building C, Woodstock.
