Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services will host a “Stuff a Squad” event Saturday, Dec. 15, to benefit the Goshen Valley Boys Ranch, a facility for youth in foster care near Waleska.

The event will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Cherokee County Fire Training Center, 3985 Holly Springs Parkway, Holly Springs.

Attendees are asked to bring unwrapped gifts to fill a squad, or ambulance, for boys ages 10 to 18. Monetary donations also are welcomed. There will be photo opportunities with Santa Claus, holiday activities and fire trucks on display.

Suggested gifts include Nerf guns, RC cars, earbuds, speakers, instruments, music equipment, bikes, video games, skateboards, TVs, tablets, lava lamps, diffusers, essentials oils, music players, soccer balls, footballs, basketballs, baseballs, baseball bats, baseball gloves, art sets, oil pastels, shading pencils, sketch pads, adult coloring books and colored marker/pen sets.
